According to Phokeng Trauma Centre, SAPS statistics and research conducted by the United Nation (2009), Potsaneng, Thekwane and Mfidikwe have a high rate of domestic violence, child abuse, rape and other trauma related cases. The above mentioned villages have difficulties accessing the services offered by Phokeng Trauma Centre. As a result of the above statement Trauma Centre needs to extend it's services to other villages.

In scope:

• Inform community, traditional leaders and Municipality ward councilors;
• Identify site;
• Request for site;
• Sign Funding Contract and Service Agreement;
• Erect potter camps;
• Allocation of staff;
• Purchase of Equipment and furniture;
• Launch satellite;
• Programme roll out.
