To conduct archaeological survey of RBN land. The survey will cover all the five regions of the RBN and is intended to preserve the sites and the heritage associated with them for future generations and to document and map all archaeological sites discovered during the survey and make recommendations for rescue projects/any further archaeological work in the RBN.
In scope:
Do a preliminary visit of known RBN archaeological sites.
Identify sites to be covered in survey.
Draw terms of reference for consultant.
Procure a consultant to conduct survey.
Familiarize the consultant with RBN land (topography) through visits to known archaeological sites.
Conduct desktop study.
Conduct fieldwork-survey, documentation and mapping of discovered/known archaeological sites.
Draft report of the survey.
Review report and submit comments to consultant.
Incorporate suggested/requested changes and finalise report.
Disseminate survey report to stakeholders and relevant research associates.
