To install water reticulation system in all newly allocated stands. Approximately 311 stands will be allocated in Mogono Extension, Luka / Rathibedi, Mafenya 1 and 2 Extension, Rooikraal, Mfidikwe and Maile Extension by December 2013. The project is done to continuous provide potable water as basic need to the RBN community members.
The project will be implemented in the following manner:
Contractors – local contractors that are used for general plumbing maintenance around the RBN villages. Engineering consultants – To manage and monitor the project.
In scope:
Installation of water pipes, gate valves and fire hydrants to newly allocated stands; and
Installation of water meters at newly allocated stands.
