To establish a waste collection cooperative in Mfidikwe, Thekwane and Photsaneng villages through identification of interested community members. The purpose is to equip them with waste collection skills  by appointing the relevant service provider, offering skills development training in order to create job opportunities, alleviate poverty by initiating and registration of a waste recycling project. This initiative will encourage community independence and lead to a safe and a clean environment for community members. 

In scope:

• Informing community leaders
• Community mobilisation  
• Consultative meetings with community members
• Formulation of groups (comprising of interested candidates)
• Appointment of a training service provider
• Training of interested individuals
• Registration of the cooperative
