Project Scope:

Itlhabe Botlhale is an initiative designed as a safe space for those with an interest in sharing knowledge and engagement in robust discussions on topics relevant to the RBN. This initiative will be held once a month with the aims to:

- To provide a forum for public discussion of research findings and processes relating to and relevant to the RBN.

- To create an enabling environment where Bafokeng professionals as well as young and motivated people are given opportunities to generate ideas and share knowledge.

- To encourage strong leadership and enhance personal development among Bafokeng youth and professionals.

- To instill a culture of reading in the Royal Bafokeng Nation.

-  To provide a space in which independent researchers active in the RBN can present their research findings to a public audience. 

In scope: the project aims to attract participants from the following groups:

  • Professionals and youth, who are interested in improving the quality of life in the Royal Bafokeng Nation, who have a passion for development and who wish to enrich their personal knowledge and ability.
  • Professionals and academics who are experienced in their various fields
  • University students, including undergraduates and post-graduate students
  • Potential independent researchers
  • Selected grade 12 students (by invitation)
