To develop new functionality and build upon the SMME database and Client Relationship Management system software (RBED Business Portal) previously developed by conseptualising, scoping, developing and testing the newly developed functionality. A software development company will be employed to do the actual development while the scoping and testing will be done in-house. System go LIVE is expected for 30 November 2013.

Scoring of SMME – An SMME evaluation tool to determine the business development stage of SMME, identify development needs and evaluate linkage readiness including associated reporting on the SMME loaded into the system.
Growth and other interventions – addition of system functionality to capture and manage worth and other interventions related to SMME development and expansion. This function includes the ability to develop standardized templates for ED interventions for existing SMME and capture the project plan as well as intervention progress or results.
Reporting - reports on scoring results andSMME overview reporting providing a detailed interaction summary of RBED involvement are included in this scope.
