To conduct a study on the perceptions of youth on barriers to labour market entry.  The project aims to carry out statistical analysis of existing quantitative datasets to establish explanatory factors for youth unemployment. It will also carry out qualitative research through focus group interviews to establish youth perceptions about barriers to labour market entry.  A contractor will carry out this study and will produce a comprehensive technical report on the findings. Thereafter an executive summary will be disseminated to RBN decision makers and the community. The project will be completed by the end of January 2015.
