The access control & surveillance system is intended to protect and secure the premises and properties of Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN). The system will control the access of employees or contractors into RBN business premises and only authorise access where designated.  The system will also monitor and report on after work hours activities. We will be installing security access systems on selected doors with cards and biometric readers. The RBN premises will also be installed surveillance cameras with recording services to capture activities.

In Scope:

• Installation of surveillance cameras;
• Installation of access control units and turnstiles;
• Installation of a recording and monitoring servers; and
• Licensing the managing and aministrating application.

The system will provide the following:

• Protect the premises and properties of RBN;
• Authorized access of staff/ employees to designated work areas;
• Report on dates and times when access was granted;
• Forbids access to selected areas and time slots;
• Monitor the after work hours activities; and
• Report on any forced / unauthorised entry.
