To assist small and micro enterprise in to becoming strong medium sized businesses referred to as "Gazelle". These businesses are referred to as Gazelles because of their R10-100m revenue with about 20-200 employees. The process of transforming these businesses will be facilitated by Spinnaker growth partners as a service provider. Spinnaker will assist the RBN to identify potential gazelles from the population of businesses in the area (incl. those supported until now by RBED), understand overall ‘fundability’, specific capital raising requirements and possible capital structures (i.e. debt, equity, grants and combinations thereof), assess business development support required for these businesses to make the leap from ‘successful entrepreneur’ to ‘future industrialist’ and assist the Bafokeng to raise and manage funding for the purposes of capital investment and business development support. The transformation of these businesses will improve employment rate in RBN, development of skills and the generation of more gazelles in the area. The project is scheduled to be a 12 weeks project starting on the 3rd of February 2014.
