To initiate and promote disability awareness in the Central region, in collaboration with disability forum towards addressing concerns as raised on mind disability & other related issues. The campaign therefore seeks to make the community aware of people with disabilities presence in the community and issues affecting them. Further also to encourage the target group to self-acceptance and embrace disability status they find themselves in, and allow working relation between community and them. To also invite the Psychologist/Psychriatrist to address audience on Persons with intellectual disabilities & Abuse. Further on invite health care providers to screen target group for any chronic illnesses and advice on how to deal with them. This will be accomplished by organising the event and inviting all relevant stakeholders. The campaign is set to be on the 10^th of June 2014.
