To manage the collection of all outstanding rentals (a minimum of 30%) on properties owned by the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN) by the end of June 2016. The Royal Bafokeng Administration (RBA) collects rentals from tenants in order to derive an income from its properties; this income is also used to sponsor the maintenance and management of its current properties. Letters of demand will be sent out to the tenants giving them notice to respond, should they fail to respond, this will result in their statements being forwarded to the Legal department. In addition a service provider will be appointed to assist with the collection, as well as enforce legal action against the affected tenants. The service provider will be remunerated through 10% of all collections made.

In scope:

• Identify outstanding rentals;
• Issue letters of demand to tenants with outstanding rental;
• Engage internal Legal Department for unresponsive tenants;
• Appointment of Service Provider;
• Institute Court action against tenant;
• Institute legal action against non-responsive tenants (Legal action to be instituted against further non-responsive tenants, as per outcome of the legal action by the Specialist); and
• Reports from service provider on monies recovered and or signed agreements on back payment (Monthly).
