To develop an NGO database within the Royal Bafokeng Enterprise Development (RBED) Module that will provide detailed information to funders/donors at the click of a button. This initiative was realised by the Strategic Relations Department as there was very little information on NGOs and the information that was available was somewhat disjointed.

It became necessary to centralise all information on NGOs that could accessible to funders/donors in order to secure funding that will enable NGOs to provide services to the community through various projects and programmes.

The project will be done in collaboration with the Health and Social Development Services Department and RBED. Information about the NGOs will be collected by HSDS, this information will be populated into the RBED ED Module and customized as per NGO requirements.

This project started in March 2013 and is envisaged to be up and running by end 2016.

In Scope:

• Site visits and collection of NGO information;
• Develop profiling data forms;
• Monitor programme development;
• Populate information onto the ED Module; and
• Migration of information into customized NGO reports.
