To conduct elections to be held on the 21st of July 2012 to elect 7 Councillors who will serve in the Royal Bafokeng Traditional Council and serve the term of office of the council is 5 years.
In Scope:
Appoint the Chief Electoral Officer and Deputy Chief Electoral Officer
To develop a project plan and a budget to facilitate the elections
Of the 18 members, 60% should be selected by Kgosi as follows
7 members who make up 40% of the Traditional Council must be elected by the community
recruit a total of 247 young and unemployed local people
87 people for the nomination process on the 30th of June
50 people in the voter education campaig
193 people during voting and counting
42 people in the publicity campaign
Publicise the elections through radio, print media, leaflets/flyers, banners, posters and billboards
A roving/mobile outside broadcast covering all five Regions to beused to publicise the elections
